Library to Host Breast Cancer Awareness Presentation On Wednesday, Oct. 15

Edinburg, TX – In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the D.M. Sekula Memorial Library will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
The event will feature Dr. Theresa Pagliuca, a radiation oncologist with UT Health RGV, who will discuss breast cancer prevention, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options. The presentation aims to help attendees better understand early detection and the importance of routine screenings.
The session is part of the library’s ongoing health education outreach, which brings medical experts and community members together to promote wellness and disease prevention.
