This Thursday, Library and UTRGV to Host Family STEAM and Literacy Night

Edinburg, TX – Families are invited to an evening of creativity and learning as the D.M. Sekula Memorial Library teams up with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s College of Education for a STEAM and Literacy Family Night on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 7 p.m.
The event will take place in the library’s Children’s Department and will feature bilingual storytime sessions, hands-on science and art activities, and interactive learning opportunities for all ages. The program is designed to engage children and families in literacy, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in a fun, accessible setting.
The partnership between the library and UTRGV aims to encourage early learning and family engagement through creative educational experiences that connect reading with real-world exploration.
