Edinburg CISD to Launch Adult Evening Classes Through Career and Technical Education Center

Edinburg, TX – Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District will soon open enrollment for new adult evening classes at its Career and Technical Education (CTE) Learning Center, expanding educational and workforce training opportunities for parents and community members.

The program, offered in partnership with South Texas College, aims to provide flexible and affordable continuing education options designed to strengthen workforce skills and promote career advancement.

Courses will include CPR certification, welding, phlebotomy, forklift operation, and commercial driver’s license (CDL) training, along with other programs such as GED preparation, English as a Second Language, food handler certification, substitute teacher certification, HVAC certification, and Certified Technician Supply Chain Automation (CT-SCA).

The initiative will be open to ECISD parents and community members and will feature a simple enrollment process, a convenient location, and assistance with financial aid, including FAFSA and scholarship applications.
