Youth Rodeo Series Returns to Edinburg on August 2

EDINBURG TX – The fourth installment of the DRH Cattle Co. Youth Rodeo series is set for Saturday, August 2 at the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Posse Arena, located at 603 W. Wisconsin Road in Edinburg.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. with speed events, followed by the evening’s main attraction—bull and steer riding—at 6:45 p.m. Organizers expect young rodeo athletes from across South Texas, including Laredo, Kingsville, and Raymondville, to compete in a range of events that celebrate western heritage and youth sportsmanship.

Spectators can also enjoy food, drinks, and western-themed shopping throughout the day. Admission is $10, with on-site parking available. No outside food, drinks, or alcohol will be permitted.

The DRH Cattle Co. Youth Rodeo series is supported by local businesses and families, with a mission to provide a positive, community-driven experience for young rodeo participants.
