EDINBURG, Texas — Emmitt Smith, Pro Football Hall of Fame running back and entrepreneur, will serve as keynote speaker at the Business Playbook Conference on April 23, 2026, hosted by the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation.
The conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. Chamber members received early access to tickets prior to public registration opening April 1.
Keynote Speaker Emmitt Smith
Smith is widely recognized for his professional football career as a running back in the National Football League, where he became the league’s all-time leading rusher and earned induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is a Super Bowl champion and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player during his career.
Beyond football, Smith has established a business career as an entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder and chairman of Emmitt Smith Enterprises, a company focused on real estate development, construction, and business ventures. Smith is also a co-owner of a NASCAR team and has been involved in multiple business initiatives spanning commercial development and strategic partnerships.
