EDINBURG, Texas — The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, will host a Community Job Fair from 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 16, at the library located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd.
Organizers state the event will bring together more than 37 employers, providing job seekers opportunities to explore openings, connect with hiring representatives and submit resumes.
Participating Employers
Employers scheduled to participate include Bert Ogden Nissan, TTEC, KFI Staffing, Walmart, Hidalgo County, U.S. Border Patrol, Harlingen Medical Center, Knapp Medical Center, Mission Regional Medical Center, Regency Integrated Health Services, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, City of Edinburg, AARP Foundation, Dollar Tree, El Tigre Food Stores, Burger King, Juniors Super Market and Teleperformance.
Additional participating employers include Edinburg Vision Center, McAllen Career Institute, Summit BHC Palms Behavioral Health, Spherion Staffing & Recruiting, Region One Education Service Center Sub Hub, Region One Education Service Center HR, Royal Freight, Fewell Professional Staffing, Southern Careers Institute, Workforce Solutions, Readymen Staffing, Church’s Chicken, North Alamo Water Supply Corporation, ACG Secure Insurance Group and The Valleys Market Place.
Organizers state the job fair aims to connect residents with employment opportunities across healthcare, education, government, retail, logistics and professional services sectors.
