Edinburg EDC to host business FLIP grant program information session on Thursday

Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation will host an informational session April 9 to provide details about its Façade and Lot Improvement Program, which offers financial assistance to small businesses for exterior property improvements.

The session, titled “FLIP Over Coffee,” is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Edinburg EDC Training Room, 617 W. University Drive. According to the announcement, attendees will receive information about eligibility requirements, the application process and qualifying project types. Applications will also be available on site.

Program details

The Façade and Lot Improvement Program provides reimbursements of up to $10,000 to qualifying businesses for exterior upgrades aimed at improving the appearance and function of commercial properties.

Eligible improvements include parking lot repairs, new or updated signage and façade enhancements. The program is intended to support investment in storefront improvements and enhance the appearance of commercial corridors across the city.

Application timeline

Applications for the third round of funding are open through April 23, 2026.
