Edinburg Fire Stoppers Festival Returns Oct. 3

EDINBURG, TX – The Edinburg Fire Department is inviting families to its 33rd Annual Fire Stoppers Festival, a free community event celebrating fire safety and local first responders.
The festival will take place Friday, Oct. 3, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Central Fire Station, 212 W. McIntyre St. Highlights include live music from Whiskey D., Rock of Ages, and School of Rock McAllen, along with food trucks, vendors and activities for all ages.

Families can enjoy fire truck displays, school performances, games, a mascot parade, moon jumps, Jurassic RGV exhibits and a petting zoo.

The festival also serves as a chance for residents to meet local firefighters and learn fire prevention tips ahead of Fire Prevention Week.
