Hidalgo County Mails Out 2026 Consolidated Tax Statements

Edinburg TX – Hidalgo County Tax Assessor-Collector Pablo (Paul) Villarreal Jr. announced Wednesday that 2026 consolidated tax statements have been mailed to property owners across the county.
The new statements are light blue in color and include taxes for multiple taxing entities, including Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1; EMS Districts 1 through 6; South Texas ISD; South Texas College; Red Sands Groundwater Conservation District; 19 cities including Edinburg, McAllen, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, and others; and 16 school districts including Edinburg CISD, La Joya ISD, McAllen ISD, Mission CISD, PSJA ISD, and others.
Property owners who have not received a statement may print one at www.hidalgocountytax.org or call the Edinburg Main Office at (956) 318-2157. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Payment Options
Taxes may be paid online at www.hidalgocountytax.org by credit card, debit card, or e-check. Payments by cash or check are also accepted at all Lone Star National Bank locations within Hidalgo County. The original light blue statement or an online-printed statement is required when paying at the bank.

Seven sub-stations serve residents across the county:
The Weslaco Sub-Station is located at the Precinct 1 Complex, 1900 Joe Stephens, Suite B, Weslaco, Texas 78596, and can be reached at (956) 973-7825.
The San Juan Sub-Station is located at the San Juan Community Center, 509 E. Earling Road, San Juan, Texas 78589, and can be reached at (956) 283-1645.
The Palmview Sub-Station is located at the Precinct 3 Complex, 722 N. Breyfogle Road, Palmview, Texas 78574, and can be reached at (956) 205-7050.
The Elsa Sub-Station is located at 708 Edinburg Ave., Suite B, Elsa, Texas 78543, and can be reached at (956) 292-7622.
The McAllen Sub-Station is located at 300 E. Hackberry, Suite 3, McAllen, Texas 78501, and can be reached at (956) 686-7424.
The Pharr Sub-Station is located at the Precinct 2 Complex, 300 W. Hall Acres Road, Suite C, Pharr, and can be reached at (956) 784-3560.
The Alamo Sub-Station is located at the Precinct 2 Complex, 1429 S. Tower Road, Alamo, and can be reached at (956) 784-8688. The Alamo sub-station operates Mondays and Tuesdays only.
