Edinburg TX – Senior Corporal Valerie Martinez of the Edinburg CISD Police Department has graduated from the School-Based Law Enforcement Master Training Class offered by the Texas School Safety Center in San Marcos.

Martinez completed 128 hours of advanced specialized training covering youth mental health and adolescent brain development, advanced emergency preparedness and crisis response, restorative justice and student mentorship strategies, and strategic planning and school safety leadership. She is assigned to Edinburg High School.
