Edinburg, TX – Hidalgo County Precinct 4 Commissioner Ellie Torres is inviting families to enjoy a night of Halloween fun at the annual Trails of Treats celebration, set for Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Alfonso Flores All Star Park, 107 Sunflower Road in Edinburg.
The free community event, hosted in partnership with the Edinburg Boys and Girls Club, will feature games, treats, and activities for children and families. More than 30 community vendors are expected to take part, handing out candy and sharing information about local programs and services available to residents.
Now in its annual tradition, Trails of Treats has become one of Precinct 4’s most popular fall events, offering families a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween while connecting with community resources.
“We look forward to seeing our community come together for a night of fun and connection,” Commissioner Torres said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season while also sharing information that can make a real difference for families.”
Families are encouraged to come dressed in costume and bring their candy bags for a fun-filled evening.
