Nightly Closures Scheduled on Southbound I-69C for Paving Work

Edinburg, TX – Drivers traveling through Edinburg should prepare for full nightly closures of the southbound I-69C main lanes between FM 2812 and Ramseyer Road beginning tonight and continuing through Thursday, Oct. 23, as crews perform paving operations.

The closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., with all southbound traffic diverted to the I-69C frontage road during work hours. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes when possible.

Transportation officials urge drivers to reduce speed, follow posted signs, and stay alert in the work zone to ensure the safety of construction workers and fellow motorists.
