Edinburg, TX – Hidalgo County Precinct 4 highlighted its partnership with the Heart, Mind, Money Foundation during the foundation’s scholarship gala on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
The event brought together community leaders, supporters and program participants, according to Precinct 4. The partnership supports a program for women focused on confidence, leadership skills and financial knowledge.

The Heart, Mind, Money Foundation provides mentorship, financial literacy education and personal development resources. The program helps participants build practical skills tied to career opportunities, business development and community leadership. The partnership with Precinct 4 connects residents with resources intended to support personal and economic growth across the community.
“Partnerships like this are about investing in people,” Commissioner Ellie Torres of Hidalgo County Precinct 4 said. “When women are given the tools, support, and mentorship to grow personally and financially, the ripple effect strengthens families and entire communities. We are proud to partner with the Heart, Mind, Money Foundation to bring these opportunities to women in our region.”
