Edinburg Adjusts Pool Hours as Summer Winds Down

EDINBURG, TX – The City of Edinburg has announced changes to public pool and aquatic facility schedules for the month of August, marking the approach of the end of the summer swimming season.

The Municipal Waterpark & Pirate’s Cove will hold its final weekday swim session on Aug. 8. Following that date, the waterpark will shift to weekends-only operation through Aug. 24. Additionally, the popular Sunday evening swim sessions, held from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., will conclude after Aug. 8.

The Fountain Pool will close to the general public beginning Aug. 3 but will remain available for previously scheduled private rentals throughout the month.

The city’s splash pads will continue operating daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until further notice.
