Edinburg to Hold Tire Collection Event for Residents on April 26

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg Solid Waste Management Department is inviting residents to take part in its Road to Recycling Tire Collection event on Saturday, April 26. The collection will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at three drop-off sites across the city.

Residents may bring up to 20 tires for free disposal at the following locations:

• Edinburg Landfill, 8601 N. Jasman Rd.
• Bicentennial Park, 2002 W. Sprague St.
• Recycling Center, 3102 S. Business 281

The event is open to City of Edinburg residents only. Participants must present a valid photo ID and a matching utility bill to confirm residency. No tractor-trailer tires, agricultural or industrial equipment tires will be accepted.

The annual initiative aims to promote environmental responsibility and help reduce illegal dumping throughout the community.
