EDINBURG TX – The Edinburg Police Department will host a community presentation on the dangers of social media and online risks facing children on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Cpl. Derek Hernandez Police Training Facility, 1309 N. Doolittle Road.

The presentation, titled “Dangers of Social Media: Protecting Our Kids in a Digital World,” is described as an important conversation about the risks children face online and how the community can work together to keep them safe.
