City of Edinburg to Honor Local Veterans at Boulevard of Heroes Unveiling Ceremony

Edinburg TX – The City of Edinburg, in partnership with the Edinburg Arts Foundation and H-E-B Operation Appreciation, will hold the Boulevard of Heroes Unveiling Ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Edinburg ACE Center, 315 W. McIntyre St.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m.

The Boulevard of Heroes initiative installs custom street banners highlighting individual veterans to recognize their service to the community, according to the city. The ceremony marks the addition of a new group of veteran banners to the city’s roster.

The event is open to civic leaders, veterans’ advocacy groups, military families and the general public.
