Edinburg Library Offers Full Lineup of Adult Programs in October at Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library

EDINBURG TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library is offering a full schedule of adult programs throughout October 2026 at 1906 S. Closner Blvd.

Knitting Club meets Thursdays, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22 at 6 p.m. The beginner-friendly program teaches participants to knit hats or scarves. Finished items may be kept or donated to the community.

Dusty’s Crafters: Fall Fabric Garland will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.

Tai Chi Wellness, offered in partnership with Prairie View A&M University, meets Wednesdays, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 10 a.m.

Healthy Bites, Healthy Moves, presented by Texas A&M AgriLife, meets Tuesdays, Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 10 a.m.

Computer Classes will be held Mondays with two sessions: File Management on Oct. 12 and Introduction to the Internet on Oct. 26. Each class is offered bilingually at 10 a.m. and in English at 6 p.m.

Write Stuff Writing Club meets Wednesdays, Oct. 7 and 21 at 6 p.m.

Aluminum Embossing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.

Movie Day: Captain America — First Avenger will be screened Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.
