Edinburg Cultural Arts to Hold Open Auditions for Conceptos Dance Ensemble

Edinburg TX – Edinburg Cultural Arts will hold open auditions for the Conceptos Dance Ensemble on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m., at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium, 200 N. 7th Ave.

The auditions are open to male and female dancers ages 18 to 25, according to the city. The ensemble was named Grand National Champions at Festivales de Mexico 2024.

Dancers should bring proper dance shoes and wear black-and-white rehearsal attire, according to the city. The program includes folklorico repertoire, dance technique and etiquette instruction, participation in the Rio Grande Valley Dance Festival, and an annual workshop and master classes. There are no registration fees, and all costumes are provided.
