Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library Offers Free Adult Programs Throughout May 2026

EDINBURG TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library has announced its May 2026 adult programming lineup, with free events open to all adults in the community.
Wellness & Fitness
The “Eating Smart Being Active” program will be held Wednesdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. Tai Chi Mental Health sessions are scheduled for Thursdays, May 7 and 14 at 2 p.m.
English Practice
Practice Your English sessions will be held Thursdays, May 7 and 14 at 6 p.m.
Special Events
Military Spouse Appreciation will be held Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m. Registration is required. Adult Storytime is scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m. A “Birds of the Rio Grande Valley” presentation and DIY Bird Feeder event will be held Tuesday, May 19 at 6 p.m. Open Mic Night is set for May 21 at 6 p.m.
Computer Classes
Computer Class Canva will be offered in bilingual format at 10 a.m. and in English at 6 p.m. Flyers classes are scheduled for Monday, May 11, and Invitations classes on Monday, May 18.
Family Movie Day
The library will screen “Saving Private Ryan” on Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m.
