EDINBURG TX – Edinburg CISD has earned an overall grade of B in the Texas Education Agency’s latest accountability ratings, reflecting consistent academic performance across its campuses.

The district received an overall score of 83 for the 2024-25 school year, matching its score from the previous year. Edinburg CISD has maintained a “B” rating since 2021-22, with scores ranging from 82 to 87 over that period.

  • School Progress: B (84/100) – reflecting how students’ performance improves over time and how the district compares to others with similar demographics.
  • Closing the Gaps: B (80/100) – evaluating how well the district ensures success across all student groups.

Overall ratings are based on the higher score between student achievement and school progress, with additional weight given to closing performance gaps.
