ALERT: Edinburg Offers Sandbags Starting Today

The City of Edinburg announced that it will begin sandbag distribution today, Monday, Aug. 21, at 1 pm. The distribution will run from 1-7 pm today and continue tomorrow from 7 am-7 pm at the Edinburg Service Center, 1201 N. Doolittle Road, weather permitting. 

This is available for residents living within the city limits. Bring proof of residency such an official identification or a utility bill. There is a limit of six bags per household and eight bags for businesses. You can take as many bags a needed if you take your own bags.

This effort aims to assist our community in preparing for the potential weather challenges in the next couple of days.
