Sekula Library to Offer Free U.S. Citizenship Preparation Classes

Edinburg TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will offer free U.S. citizenship exam preparation classes beginning in September, in partnership with the nonprofit organization Uniendo Naciones Solo Por Servir.

The classes cover civics, U.S. history and exam tips, according to the library.

English classes will be held on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26; Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31; and Nov. 7, when the class will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Spanish classes will be held on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; and Nov. 5.

All classes will be held at the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, 1906 S. Closner Blvd.
