Nighttime closures planned on Southbound I-69C for overhead sign work in Edinburg starting tonight

EDINBURG, Texas — Nighttime ramp and lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-69C in Edinburg and Pharr for overhead sign replacements on April 15 and April 16, according to information released April 13, 2026.
On Wednesday, April 15, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will encounter ramp and lane closures between U.S. Business 281 (Closner Boulevard) and Nolana Avenue.
On Thursday, April 16, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will encounter ramp and lane closures at Owassa Road. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead to avoid delays.
April 15 Closures
On April 15, the following closures are planned from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-69C southbound at Business 281 (Exit 10) will have an entrance ramp closure and one right lane closure. I-69C southbound at Trenton Road (Exit 3) will have an entrance ramp closure and one right lane closure.
I-69C southbound at Nolana (FM 3461) Exit 1E will have an entrance ramp closure and one right lane closure.
April 16 Closures
On April 16, the following closures are planned from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-69C southbound at Owassa Road (Exit 2) will have an entrance ramp closure, exit ramp closure and one right lane closure.
