Chamber names Anissa de la Garza to board of directors

Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce has appointed Anissa de la Garza to its Board of Directors, adding a longtime operations manager and small-business owner to the organization’s leadership.

De la Garza has worked 17 years with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, where she serves as administrative manager overseeing day-to-day operations and workplace initiatives. She also owns Dream Fiestas, a local business that organizes children’s slumber parties.

Civic involvement includes Leadership Edinburg (Class XX) and active membership in the Pan American Round Table. A Texas A&M University graduate, she and her husband, Mark, have three daughters. The chamber said her focus on family-centered community initiatives aligns with its mission to support local business growth and quality of life.

The Edinburg Chamber is a nonprofit membership organization that advocates for area businesses through promotion, networking and programs such as Leadership Edinburg.
