Toy Ruck March to benefit Blue Santa set for Nov. 30

Edinburg, TX – American Legion Alfredo Gonzalez Post 408 will host its 3rd annual Toy Ruck March on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 7 a.m., a two-mile community walk to support Edinburg’s Blue Santa Toy Drive. Participants will start at Post 408, 4605 S. Closner Blvd., and finish at the Edinburg Police Department.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring new, unwrapped toys to help local families during the holidays. The event will feature appearances by Choo-Choo alongside Army veteran Gabby, and Starbucks will provide coffee and pastries as a sponsor.

The Toy Ruck March is part of Post 408’s ongoing effort to engage the community in veteran-led service projects and to bolster the city’s holiday giving campaign.
