Edinburg Expands Free VA Whole Health Wellness Series for Veterans Through October

Edinburg TX – The City of Edinburg and the Department of Veterans Affairs have announced the expansion of the VA Whole Health: From Service to Strength Creative Arts and Wellness Event series through the fall, with monthly sessions scheduled in July, August, September, and October 2026 at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events Center, 315 W. McIntyre St.
All sessions run from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at noon. Admission is free. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are preferred.
The VA Whole Health program offers a personalized, holistic approach to healthcare centered on the veteran. Rather than focusing solely on medical conditions, the model asks veterans what matters most to them and empowers them to align their lifestyle, health choices, and well-being with their personal life goals. The program introduces tools designed to support the mind, body, and spirit.
The initiative connects participants with the Hidalgo County Community Service Agency, the Texas Veterans Commission, and Chicanos Por La Causa for veteran benefits and care support. The Edinburg Arts Foundation supports the participating artists.
