Edinburg TX – The Office of Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez will present “Through the Storm with Sunny,” a free puppet show focused on hurricane season preparedness for children and families, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library, 1906 S. Closner Blvd.

Two showtimes are available: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The show is part of the Storm Safe with Sunny initiative and also features a Power Out Cooking demonstration on alternative fuel cooking methods. The event is presented in partnership with the City of Edinburg Library and Cultural Arts.
