Library rolls out October lineup of free adult programs

Edinburg, TX – Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will offer a month of no-cost adult programs in October, with materials provided and no registration required.
The schedule offers the following opportunities for learning:
- Dusty’s Crafters: Wooden “Thankful” Wall Décor — Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2 p.m.
- Domestic Violence Awareness Month presentation — Wednesday, Oct. 8, 6 p.m.
- Eating Smart, Being Active nutrition classes — Thursdays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16, 10 a.m.
- Healthy Aging series — Thursdays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16, 2 p.m.
- Family Movie Day (snacks while supplies last) — Sunday, Oct. 19, 2 p.m.
- Vegetarian Awareness Month session — Thursday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m.
Programs take place at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. For more information, call 956-383-6246. The library’s adult offerings are part of the city’s Library & Cultural Arts initiative to support lifelong learning and community wellness.
