Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library Offers Creative Workshops for Adults in May

EDINBURG, TX — The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library is inviting adults to participate in a series of hands-on craft and art workshops throughout May, providing opportunities to learn new skills and connect with fellow craft enthusiasts.

Upcoming programs include:

  • Knitting Class: Wednesdays, May 7, 14, and 21 at 2 p.m. — Beginners and intermediate knitters can learn or refine their knitting techniques in this guided session.
  • Faux Stained Glass Art: Wednesday, May 14 at 6 p.m. — Participants can create their own faux stained glass art using simple materials.
  • Craft Material Exchange: Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m. — Crafters can bring gently used or new materials to swap with other attendees, promoting creativity and sustainability.

All programs are first come, first served while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as space is limited.
