Edinburg to Host Appreciation Event for Military Spouses

EDINBURG, TX — The City of Edinburg’s Library and Cultural Arts Department, in partnership with H-E-B’s Operation Appreciation initiative, will host a special Military Spouse Appreciation Day event on Friday, May 9, to honor the sacrifices and contributions of military spouses in the community.

The celebration will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library, located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. The event will feature a painting session, hors d’oeuvres, mocktails, raffles, giveaways, and more.

Attendance is limited to military spouses, and registration is required. Participants can register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by calling 956-383-6246.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day is a national observance held each May to recognize the important role of spouses in supporting service members and maintaining the strength of military families.
