EDINBURG, Texas – July 8, 2024 — The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce (ECC) earned the coveted first place in the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Excellence Award for Social Media Campaigns. The accolade was announced at the TCCE Annual Conference in Galveston, Texas, attended by hundreds of chamber professionals.

The TCCE recognizes outstanding achievements in marketing, communications, and media outreach annually. Chambers across Texas submitted entries in various categories, including social media campaigns, websites, and marketing initiatives.

The ECC’s winning campaign, “Shop Small Holiday Campaign,” utilized their social media platforms—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube—to promote a digital ‘Shop Small’ coupon book. The campaign highlighted enticing coupons and featured local businesses, driving engagement and outreach. The effort successfully increased awareness and foot traffic to participating businesses, boosting the local economy during the holiday season. Community members accessed the exclusive offers through a dedicated landing page at Edinburg.com/coupons.

Ronnie Larralde, ECC Executive Director, expressed pride in the team’s efforts. “This award underscores our commitment to supporting small businesses and fostering community engagement,” he said.
