Edinburg Celebrates International Mud Day with ‘Oh My Mud!’ Event

EDINBURG, Texas— The City of Edinburg Parks & Recreation, in collaboration with the World Birding Center, invites the community to celebrate International Mud Day with the “Oh My Mud!” event on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun activities, including building, painting, and sculpting with mud. The event aims to promote creativity and connection with nature while providing a messy, fun-filled experience for families and children.
“We’re excited to host this unique event that allows kids and adults alike to engage in hands-on activities and enjoy the natural environment,” said a representative from Edinburg Parks & Recreation. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the simple joys of playing in the mud.”
The event will be held at the World Birding Center in Edinburg. All necessary materials will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to wear clothes that can get dirty. The celebration promises to be a memorable experience filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of mud.
