Edinburg TX – The City of Edinburg is accepting registrations for its Winter Baseball, Softball and Boys Basketball leagues, with sign-ups opening next week.

Winter Baseball and Softball

Registration for the Winter Baseball and Softball League runs Nov. 2-30. The league is open to teams in the 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U divisions. The team fee is $350. Registration is for teams only. Players must provide their own uniforms and equipment.

League play is scheduled to begin Dec. 7.

Boys Basketball

Registration for the 2027 Boys Basketball League runs Nov. 3 through Dec. 4 at the Parks and Recreation Department, 315 Mark S. Peña Dr. The league begins Jan. 11, 2027. The registration fee is $45.

Divisions are offered for Pre-K, Kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade and 6th grade.

Proof of school enrollment is required at registration. Accepted documents include a transfer letter, Skyward printout, school ID or pre-registration confirmation.
