Edinburg TX – The Friends of the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will host the first Brown Bag Lunch Series program of the season Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, at noon at the library, 1906 S. Closner Blvd.

Joanne Ureste Armijo, with Prairie View A&M Extension, will present “Feast Well, Stay Well: Healthy Thanksgiving Recipes & Turkey Safety Essentials,” sharing tips and recipes for a healthy Thanksgiving feast, including a Roasted Herb Turkey and Cranberry Quinoa Salad.

Two turkeys will be raffled at the event. No registration is required.
