Sekula Library Announces September Adult Program Lineup

Edinburg TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library has announced its September 2026 lineup of free adult programs.

Dusty’s Crafters: Colorful Music Painting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m.

Tai Chi for Seniors, in partnership with Prairie View A&M University, will be held Wednesdays, Sept. 2, 9, 16 and 23, at 10 a.m.

Healthy Bites, Healthy Moves, in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife, will be held Tuesdays, Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29, at 10 a.m.

Computer classes will include Hardware Basics on Monday, Sept. 14, and Intro to Word on Monday, Sept. 28, with bilingual sessions at 10 a.m. and English sessions at 6 p.m.

Open Mic Night will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m.

Movie Day, featuring “Hacksaw Ridge,” will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m.

All programs are free, with materials provided, according to the library.
