Edinburg TX – Applications for the Edinburg Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council close today, Monday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m.

The council is open to incoming high school juniors and seniors for the 2026-2027 academic year who reside within Edinburg city limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction, or who attend a school located within Edinburg.

New seniors may choose between a comprehensive track or an educational exploration track. Juniors commit to monthly 90-minute advisory sessions. Seniors commit to bi-monthly advisory sessions plus independent project time.
