New primary care clinic Premier Valley Health to open in Edinburg with ribbon cutting

Edinburg, TX – A new medical practice focused on internal medicine and primary care will officially open its doors in Edinburg with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Friday, Jan. 9.

The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce will host the event welcoming Premier Valley Health to the community. The ceremony is set for 3:30 p.m. at the clinic’s location, 2500 W. Trenton Rd., Suite 7.

New healthcare option in Edinburg

Premier Valley Health – Internal Medicine & Primary Care is led by Dr. Hector Garza, a board-certified internal medicine physician and Rio Grande Valley native. The clinic will focus on adult and senior care, preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Clinic officials said the practice emphasizes long-term patient relationships and a prevention-based approach to healthcare. Dr. Garza is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing the clinic to serve a broad segment of the Edinburg community.
