Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation has added two new members to its team with the hiring of Carlos Robert Reyes and Daniel Andres Garza as business development managers.
EDC officials said the additions are intended to strengthen the organization’s capacity to support business attraction, expansion and long-term economic growth across multiple sectors.
Focus on industrial development
Daniel Andres Garza brings experience in municipal operations and economic development, with a professional background that includes planning, zoning, code enforcement and development services. According to the EDC, Garza has worked with both public and private partners on complex projects aimed at advancing community development and economic value.
In his new role, Garza will focus on advancing industrial development projects, with an emphasis on supporting long-term investment and job creation in Edinburg.
Retail and commercial growth efforts
Carlos Robert Reyes joins the EDC with a corporate background in linear and digital marketing, account leadership and business strategy. Officials said Reyes has managed projects that connect businesses and brands with the communities they serve, bringing a results-driven approach to economic development.
Reyes will focus on retail and commercial business development, supporting business attraction, expansion and activation efforts intended to strengthen Edinburg’s commercial corridors and local economy.
EDC officials said both hires align with the organization’s broader mission to promote sustainable economic growth and diversify development opportunities throughout the city.
