Edinburg TX – Celeste Cabrera-Huff officially filed as the Republican candidate for Texas House District 40, launching a bold, family-centered campaign focused on safety, opportunity, and a stronger future for the Rio Grande Valley.

Cabrera-Huff — a business leader, author, community advocate, and domestic-violence survivor — said she is running to bring courage, accountability, and real solutions to South Texas.

“I filed today because the Rio Grande Valley deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and fights for our families every single day,” said Cabrera-Huff. “I’m running to secure the border, support law enforcement, strengthen our schools, protect South Texas water, and end domestic violence once and for all.”
