Folklórico Showcase ‘Nuestra Herencia’ Set for Sept. 19–20 at Edinburg ACE Center

EDINBURG, TX – The Edinburg Conceptos Dance Ensemble will present Nuestra Herencia, a folklórico dance recital celebrating regional culture, on Friday, Sept. 19, and Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Edinburg Arts, Culture & Entertainment (ACE) Center. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

The two-day showcase will feature traditional music, colorful costumes, and guest ensembles from Edinburg CISD, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD, and La Joya ISD, highlighting the spirit of the Rio Grande Valley through dance. Tickets are $5, with free admission for children 10 and under.

Directed by Raúl Galván with support from Cati Gómez, the Edinburg Conceptos Dance Ensemble has become a fixture at local cultural events, including city parades and festivals. The group also organizes the annual RGV Dance Festival and includes performers ranging from high school students to adults.

Public parking will be available at Edinburg City Hall. Proceeds from the event will support the ensemble’s programming and future performances. Tickets may be purchased online at edinburgarts.com/nuestraherencia or at the door.
