Edinburg Accepting Applications to Honor Veterans, Active Military

EDINBURG, TX – The City of Edinburg is accepting applications for its Boulevard of Heroes program, which honors veterans and active-duty service members with custom banners displayed along the city’s designated tribute route.

The program, part of Edinburg’s Operation Appreciation initiative, is open to honorees who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or are veterans with ties to the city. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 1, 2025.

Selected individuals will be recognized with banners featuring their photo, name, service branch and years of service. The program is designed to publicly honor and thank those who have served the nation.

Applications can be submitted online at edinburgarts.com/boulevardofheroes.
