Edinburg to Host National Night Out Kickoff Block Party with Free Movie in the Park

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg will kick off its National Night Out celebrations with a family-friendly Block Party: Movie in the Park Edition on Sunday, July 14, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. at Edinburg Bicentennial Park, located at 2202 W. Sprague St.

The evening will feature a free outdoor screening of Wicked, along with complimentary hot dogs, popcorn, games, and prizes. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Edinburg police officers and firefighters as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnerships.

Hosted in collaboration with the Edinburg Police Department, the event aims to bring families together in a fun and engaging environment ahead of the annual National Night Out observance in August.
