Edinburg World Birding Center Hosts Weeklong Earth Day Activities

EDINBURG TX – The Edinburg World Birding Center is celebrating Earth Week with a series of hands-on activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and community engagement. Events run April 21–25 and will be held at the center, located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd.
The week kicks off Sunday, April 21, with “Read, Reuse, Renew,” a bookmark craft activity from 9 a.m. to noon. On Earth Day, April 22, visitors are invited to take part in a Community Earth Day Pledge, available all day.
Programming continues on April 23 with “Bring a Bag, Take a Bag,” a soil swap event from 9 a.m. to noon. On April 24, attendees can create nature-inspired jewelry during “Earth Threads” from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The week wraps up April 25 with an Earth-themed story time session, “Birds, Books, and a Better Earth,” also from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
