UPDATE: Juvenile Arrested in Edinburg Smoke Shop Robbery; Two Suspects Still at Large

EDINBURG TX — A 15-year-old male has been taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery at Nine Tails Smoke Shop, according to Edinburg police.
Investigators located the juvenile suspect on the outskirts of Donna, where he was apprehended without incident. Authorities say two additional suspects remain at large as the investigation continues.
The robbery occurred on March 26 at approximately 12:56 a.m. at the shop located in the 3700 block of North Doolittle Road. Police said three suspects arrived at the scene in a white Cadillac CTS and initially entered the store under the pretense of inquiring about CBD products.
After briefly exiting the shop, the suspects returned with weapons. Two were armed with handguns while a third carried a knife. The suspect with the knife demanded CBD items while the others stole cash from the register and merchandise from the shelves. During the robbery, one suspect reportedly pointed a firearm at the store clerk.
The entire incident lasted roughly 30 seconds before the suspects fled northbound. The clerk immediately notified authorities and the store owner.
