Edinburg Chamber, EDC to Host Small Business Funding Seminar Wed., Feb. 5th

EDINBURG TX—Local entrepreneurs and small business owners will have the opportunity to explore funding options at the “Funding Opportunities for Your Small Business” seminar, hosted by the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, located at 602 W. University Dr.
The seminar will provide insights into various funding programs designed to help small businesses launch, expand, and succeed. Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and LiftFund will be present to offer expert guidance and assist attendees in navigating the funding application process.
About the SBA and LiftFund
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is a federal agency dedicated to supporting small businesses through a variety of programs, including low-interest loans, grants, and advisory services. The SBA provides funding options such as the 7(a) Loan Program, which offers financial assistance for working capital and expansion, and the 504 Loan Program, which helps businesses purchase real estate and equipment. Additionally, the SBA connects small business owners with local resource partners for mentorship and business development training.
LiftFund is a nonprofit organization that specializes in offering microloans and small business financing to startups and entrepreneurs who may not qualify for traditional bank loans. The organization provides flexible loan products with lower credit requirements and personalized financial coaching. LiftFund also offers business education programs and workshops to help small businesses improve financial management and long-term sustainability.
