STXIFF Kicks Off 2025 Season with Networking Mixer in Edinburg
Staff Report
EDINBURG, Texas — The South Texas International Film Festival (STXIFF) will officially launch its 2025 season with an annual Networking Mixer on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the ACE Center in Edinburg. Organized by the City of Edinburg’s Cultural Arts Division, the event invites filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts to connect and learn about the upcoming festival.
The mixer, beginning at 6:30 p.m., will feature information sessions on key aspects of the 2025 season, including submission deadlines, volunteer opportunities, and the Film Friendly Business Program, which connects local businesses with the festival. A Q&A session with STXIFF organizers will allow attendees to engage directly with the festival team.
Complimentary refreshments, courtesy of the Edinburg Arts Foundation, will be served as guests enjoy a casual evening of networking and discussions about the art of storytelling through film.
STXIFF, which highlights local, regional, and international filmmakers, will return to the Edinburg ACE from September 10 to 13, 2025. The festival promotes cultural exchange, artistic growth, and the development of the film industry in South Texas.
