Swearing-in ceremony to be held in Edinburg
Two councilmembers and municipal judge take oath of office
Edinburg, TX, Nov. 14, 2023 – The City of Edinburg cordially invites the public and media to join a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, November 16, 2023, at 6 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Edinburg City Council Chambers, 415 W. University Drive.
After the official canvassing of the votes, newly elected Councilmember for Place 3, David Salazar Jr., will take the oath of office, marking the commencement of his service to the community. Additionally, those in attendance will have the opportunity to witness Mayor Pro Tem David White, re-elected Councilmember for Place 4, reaffirming his commitment to serve the city. Municipal Court Judge Hector Bustos Jr. will also take the oath of office.
