Edinburg to host Senior Halloween Event this Friday

Edinburg, TX – Double, double, toil and trouble! In the spirit of Halloween, the City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its first-ever “Seniorween.” Attendees 55 years and older can expect thrills and chills between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. this Friday, October 13, 2023, at the new and improved ‘El Tule’ Jose Nieto and Consuelo Alfaro Robledo Center, located at 700 S. Veterans Boulevard. 

Participants will have the opportunity to partake in a costume contest, make Halloween-themed crafts, and play Loteria free of charge. Residents will also have the chance to get their daily exercise through low-impact activities guided by city staff. This exciting lineup of free, spooky fun is sure to send shivers down your spine!
