Texas A&M AgriLife to Offer Free Family Cooking and Nutrition Classes at Edinburg ACE Center

EDINBURG TX – Texas A&M AgriLife, in partnership with the Edinburg Cultural Arts ACE Center, will offer a free series of cooking and nutrition classes for adults beginning Tuesday, July 14, 2026, through Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at the Edinburg ACE Center, 315 W. McIntyre St.

Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The program is open to adults ages 18 and older at no cost.

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program features instructor-led sessions covering grocery budgeting, meal planning, food safety, and healthy recipes. Participants will also receive guidance on incorporating physical activity into daily routines. Complimentary kitchen tools, recipe books, and a graduation certificate will be provided upon completion of the series.
